Q. Do I have to purchase in advance?
A. Tours fill up quickly in the summer & autumn months and we encourage you to purchase your tour in advance so we can offer your preferred date. You can purchase your tour by booking online or calling us directly at 970-948-4349.

Q. How long do the tours last?
A.
 Standard tour lengths range from 60 to 90 minutes depending on the tour.

Q. Are tours canceled do to weather?
A. Tours operate in all weather conditions.  Please dress accordingly to the weather.   Bring along rain jackets and umbrellas when there is a threat of rain.  Dress warm for winter and evening tours.
The saying “If you don’t like the weather in Aspen, just wait five minutes” is so often true, dreary days often turn out beautiful.

Q. How many guests are on a tour?
A. Tour size is often small groups averaging under 10 guests depending on the season.  There is a 20 person maximum for public walking tours & a 10 person maximum for public hiking tours.

Q. Can private tours be arranged?
A. Yes.  All scheduled tours can be booked online as a private experience when open.  To arrange a different time/day please contact us here. Private tours may be customized.

Q. Is it an easy excursion?
A. The walking tours in town are all casual strolls on sidewalks and pedestrian walkways.  The light hikes & bikes vary from easy to more difficult.

Q. What age is appropriate for the tours?
A. All ages are welcome.  While the evening ghost tour is best suited to ages 7+ it is up the the parents discretion to bring younger children.
The longer hiking tours are best suited for ages 12+.

Q. Are kids under 6 free?
A.  Yes, childern 6 years old and younger are free when accompanied by adult. Please include a note while booking.

Q. May I bring a dog on the tour?
A. If they are well behaved, not a distraction and other guests are comfortable with them you are welcome to bring pets along but please ask in advanced for your particular tour.

Q. Would I enjoy the tour as a local?
A. Our tours are great for locals and visitors alike. It’s a great opportunity to learn a few new tidbits and to view the community in a new light.  The evening Aspen ghost tour is highly recommended for the local audience.

Q. What tours are wheelchair accessible?
A. All of the downtown walking tours are wheelchair accessible.

Q. Should I tip the guide?
A. Tips are always appreciated.  If you enjoyed your tour of Aspen please feel free to tip the guide to let them know they did a fantastic job.   Contactless payment options are available.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. Public tours must be canceled 48 hours before start for a full refund.

Q. Where can I park in Aspen?
A.  Paid parking is available on the street in downtown Aspen as well as at the public parking garage.  On street parking is free after 6pm & on Sundays & Holidays.  Parking prices are higher in the downtown core than in the residential area that surrounds it and the parking garage.  For more info on parking visit Aspen Parking Department.

As the tours meet in downtown Aspen it is often an easy walk from many hotels & residences to the meeting location.
