I really enjoyed his rendition of the early Aspen history and it was definitely a highlight to see the buildings built by Jerome Wheeler . This tour is certainly worth the time and cost and makes it for an intriguing look into the history of the area. Highly recommended!

  Ties Aspen's history to its present and its future  - This tour was a highlight of our Colorado trip. Dean knows and shares so much of what makes Aspen so unique and special, and makes it fun at every turn!

  A look at the people who built many of the buildings which still form a large part of Aspen’s downtown area today. - Interesting, easy walk around Aspen.
It turned out there was just me and my friend for the morning’s tour so we probably didn’t need the full 90 mins but... read more we were able to ask our own questions and look inside the fire station at the photographs and memorabilia there which was very interesting.
Otherwise good stories about some of the first miners and investors in what became the city of Aspen.

  Dean was extremely informed about the Apen history, and really had everyone engaged with the tour! I would recommend this to anyone!

Dean covered all of this in a fun 90 minute walk around town, with stops at many historic and contemporary sites along the way. He is friendly, conversational, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
