  Entertaining tour!  - 5/5! Excellent tour, something fun and different to do for my third trip to Aspen. Recommend for visitors and locals. Dean is a great story teller and kept things entertaining!

Just a couple blocks off Main Street we walked dish to Hallam Lake and then walked along Roaring Fork River. Dean was extremely knowledgeable about the area and answered all are questions. We then walked over to John Denver Sanctuary. Wow that was fabulous. This was an excellent tour. So insightful. Highly recommend it.

This was a great way to explore Aspen's downtown with a very knowledgeable local and learn more about the history of the town.

  Great fun, history and goosebumps - More than just a ghost tour this included great history backed by real research. We really enjoyed the experience that incorporated learning, laughing and goosebumps.

The tour lasted one hour and 20 minutes with easy walking and a lot of information.... read more Dean speaks clearly and he was easy to hear and understand as I am hard if hearing even with hearing aids. After your tour, be sure to visit the John Denver Sanctuary.

  A look at the people who built many of the buildings which still form a large part of Aspen’s downtown area today. - Interesting, easy walk around Aspen.
It turned out there was just me and my friend for the morning’s tour so we probably didn’t need the full 90 mins but... read more we were able to ask our own questions and look inside the fire station at the photographs and memorabilia there which was very interesting.
Otherwise good stories about some of the first miners and investors in what became the city of Aspen.

All cultures have creation stories and they are vitally important to truly understanding history.

  Colorado history  - 5, our guide was very informative. My adult granddaughter and I loved to learn about the history of Aspen and how much the town has changed.
